La Choltière is set admidst some 45'000m2 beautiful parkland. It enjoys ist own lake, a large heated swimming pool as well as wintergarden with whirlpool. On the upper floor of the charming castle are 5 luxuriously furnished rooms, each with en-suite facilities (bath/wc) or (bath/shower). On the ground floor are dining room, a generous and elegant entrance hall, the blue parlior, library, beauty salon and in the wintergarden Jacuzzi and steambath/shower. In the park, visitors may enjoy an infrared sauna. Around the lake there is an abundance of birds, such as geese, ducks, peacocks and even rabbits and chickens are looking forward to welcoming visitors!
The Château itself stands in its own secluded grounds of about 10.5 acres (45.000 sq.m.) with a lake, large heated swimming-pool and winter-garden with whirl-pool. The Château was built in 1848 in the classical style of French domestic architecture fronted by a terrace leading into an imposing lounge and reception area. The dining room, blue salon and library all lead off this area with a central wide staircase leading to the bedrooms on the first floor. There are 5 luxuriously furnished double-bedded rooms each with its own bath/w.c. or shower/w.c. The big fully equipped kitchen invites for cooking delicious meals and you will serve them in the beautiful dining room.
There are rabbit hutches, fowl pens and a pony paddock in the grounds with geese, ducks and even peacocks around the lake – there is plenty of fish to catch for the keen angler. Bicycles are at your disposal if you wish to explore the local countryside at a leisurely pace
